At Diagnostic Imaging Services, it all starts with quality. All Radiologists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology. some have sub-specialty training in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal and Body Imaging.
All MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and Mammography equipment has received advanced accredidation from the American College of Radiology. All equipment undergoes quality assurance testing daily, monthly and annually. and where appropriate, modalities undergo rigorous annual testing by a physicist.
Each DIS imaging center has received a five star rating for customer service from TRAQS, an independent polling company assigned to measure customer satisfaction of patients who have had tests performed at DIS. In recent additional surveying done by DIS, over 97% of our patients who visited one of our clinics are VERY LIKELY to return, if additional testing was required.
But it doesn't stop there.
For example, recent news reports have revealed excessive radiation received during CT examinations at some facilities nationwide. We have specific controls in place to prevent this from happening here. All DIS CT scanners are equipped with Radiation Dose Reduction Software that works toward reducing radiation exposure to the patient by 40%. This software sets the dose of radiation by patient weight and will not exceed the minium of what is needed for a quality study. We utilize this technology when scanning EVERY PATIENT.
